Dubai relies on desalinated water, which contains high levels of calcium and other minerals that are naturally absorbed through storage tanks and plumbing systems. ·        Using more detergent – Add more than the usual amount to make ordinary washing effective

·        Liquid detergent – Chances are, liquid detergent dissolves faster and does not necessarily stick to clothes and leave residues

·        White vinegar – Add a little bit of vinegar to clothes during the rinse cycle to soften the fabrics

·        Cleaning your machine – Ensure you clean your washing machine at least once a month with vinegar and baking soda

·        Drying – Shake out clothes before you put them in the dryer, and do not overcrowd clothes
